7/6/04 - Strawberry Bubbly

Rain-x image (same technique as 7/4/04 PAD. Technique is explained there). The straight version of the berry is at http://www.pbase.com/image/31027389 and here http://www.pbase.com/image/31173056

Used new camera & tripod (7/4 done with CP5700 and old cheapo tripod). Another difference from 7/4 image (besides the subject) is that the strawberry was only 3-4" below the glass top (closer to 30" for the flag) and the camera was nearer to the glass (about 10" vs. about 15" for the flag). Take a look a the shutter speed & aperture and you'll see why a tripod is necessary.

Maybe someday I'll post the Rain-x self portrait that I did. Guaranteed to get rid of rodents.

This is great, Ed. I love the little strawberries in the raindrops. Thanks again for explaining the technique!
