10/25/08 - Through the Looking Glass #2

A D300 in-camera 10-shot multiple exposure version of yesterday's PAD - http://www.pbase.com/image/105022223 - both trying for an in-camera "painterly effect".
Although the scene and composition are identical - one taken right after the other - there's no doubt that they were done by two different "painters".
....
I am in the process of duplicating my PBase galleries at SmugMug - see today's PAD at http://ed-k-photo.smugmug.com/gallery/6354424_xoHA3#402672267_CmJXB
I will post at both sites for the foreseeable future (10 months left on my PBase subscription)

Very nice result. Voted.

In this image, though lovely and delicate, I feel more of a separation between the viewer (me!) and the scene than in yesterday's PAD. But...I'm wondering if that might be addressed with just a touch more contrast, because it is beautiful.
