1978 R100/7 INSTRUMENT CLUSTER
NOTE: MY ODOMETER REPAIR GALLERY IS BASED ON A INSTRUMENT CLUSTER FROM A BMW R100/7 MOTORCYCLE. FOR ALL OTHER MODELS, ~PROCEED~WITH~CAUTION~.
THIS FIX RELATES TO A SMALL INTERNAL DRIVE GEAR THAT IS SLIPPING ON ITS DRIVE PIN, CAUSING THE NON-FUNCTION OF THE ODOMETER.
READ THROUGH THE ENTIRE GALLERY BEFORE REPAIR IS ATTEMPTED.
THIS SIMPLE ODOMETER REPAIR PROCEDURE CAN TAKE AS LITTLE AS AN HOUR TO COMPLETE.
--REMOVE THESE THREE SCREWS AND THE SPEEDO CABLE NUT.
