Don't keep me in stitches

Today the stitches came out. Megan of Wolf River Veterinary Clinic removes Zoeys stitches from her eye. She said everything looked really good, that it is healing nicely. She also told me that the area around the eye is going to be tender for awhile.

God bless you. All kitties deserve a home like you have provided. Thank you so much for having such a heart of gold. I love my cats, all of which were rescues It breaks my heart to think how many are out there without a home.

Zoey will be find with the one eye. An old one-eyed Himalayan adopted me and my husband back in the 90's. My Vet cleaned up his eye socket and sewed it shut for free because he knew we couldn't afford the surgery. Puck never let his one eye slow him down. He was kind and gentle and very happy to have a home. The pads on his paws were nearly worn off. I often wondered how far he walked to find us. God/dess bless you and your husband for your kindness to this sweet kitten. Oh, and your Meowolloween pics were terrific!

Thank you for what you've done for Zoey. I believe her story will inspire others to do the right thing for our animal friends.

Don't know your religious preference, but God bless all of you guys. I pray for all good things to come your way.

THANK YOU.

This is truly a story that touches my heart. You certainly did do the right thing (not everyone would) and this little animal will bring such joy to your life, you will wonder how you lived without her. I know because I have 4 cats, 3 of which were rescued from the wild and one was adopted from our local Humane Society 14 years ago.

what a wonderful story - my daughter feeds a commune of kitties that people have abandoned - its very sad - but she is helping as much as she can - I will never understand how people can do these things to such helpless animals-
