Guess who's feeling better

Okay, I have a rule around here. If you walk in your toilet, you can't walk on my kitchen counter. Zoey is breaking that rule as you can see. We are still working on implementing the rule via a squirt bottle.

The surgery did not really slow her down at all. She is doing very well, and goes to get her stitches out in 7 days. We did have to make an unexpected trip to the vet yesterday because I thought her belly incision looked sort of swollen and sticking out. They checked her over and said it was fine and nothing to worry about.

Again, I can't say thank you enough to all of you who took the time to read her story and continue to check in every now and then to see how she is doing. Never did I think a little kitten from Wisconsin would generate the attention she has. And just so you know, I have and continue to read each and every comment you post. Thank you so much for that. Your kindness has been overwhelming.

Now, wheres that squirt bottle................

I too rescued a kitten that was less than 24 hrs old, she was alot of work and we wondered if she would make it, but Maggie is now 3 yrs old and rules the roost around here, so Bless you for the love you gave that sweet little kitten.

Wow. I can't believe how much this random page, found on Stumble, has touched my heart. I have a rescue Kitty, who came to us with a badly healed broken leg and a lot of physio to do, another friend of mine rescued and cared for a cat who ran away and was in an awful state. He was reclaimed and ran away again, only for her to find him again and eventually buy him off the owners becauase he obviously wasn't happy.

But I have never before heard of a kitten who needed this much love, and I'm glad she was able to get it. I hope she grows up well.

What a difference between 29th July and this glorious young lady ! Her's is a wonderfully heartwarming and encouraging story - entirely due to the love and care you gave this little waif and stray. What a miracle she came YOUR way !

I can't wait to see how Zoey looks once she's all healed! She's shaping up to be quite a beautiful and healthy cat, quite a contrast compared with her early pictures. Good luck Zoey!

Wow-Zoey looks WAY better than when we first met her...
She won the Lottery, no doubt about it.
This whole series is a real day brightener, something SORELY needed theses days.

So glad to see she's doing better. She's such a beautiful cat. I hope things keep getting better for Zoey.

We have a cat that doesn't mind getting wet, plus I don't like spraying water around electronics, so you can also try a few coins in an empty pop can (put some tap over the hole after the coins are in it) and shake it when the cat is bad, usually gets their attention.
