Relative to the previous pciture this is the wall with some parts of the külliye complex and the Lycee I mentioned earlier. These big mosques have lots of buildings that surround them, for soup kitchens, maybe a hospital, a koran school, and so forth. Some of the buildings will be put to modern use, others are just waiting for a new function.
