Kayseri Lala Muslihiddin mosque 2019 1852.jpg

From personal experience I know Turkish and English are worlds apart, and I often wonder if I'm not too harsh in criticizing the sometimes poor English one comes across. But here something went thoroughly wrong. The Turkish says, roughly: “Lala Muslihiddin mosque and mausoleum. It was built during the 13th century in the Seljuk era. Lala Muslihiddin built a complex that consisted of a mosque, Quran school, bathhouse and mausoleum. The mosque and mausoleum were known as “Lale” [which is tulip, a variation or corruption of Lala, which rather is the term for a courtier who would teach the son of a sultan], whereas the bathhouse was known as “Hamam selahhatin”. The Quran school that stood at the northeast was ruined, there are remains under the earth. In the mosque a valuable minber made of wood can be found”.
Then compare this to the "English".
