In 2018 I witnessed the "closing" of the mosque for restoration.
I happened to meet a Dutch (my language) speaking contractor who told me the whole building will be rebuilt, after some two years to the left of the entrance there will be a small prayer room, the rest of the building will house a museum. It seems even the minaret will be rebuilt, which would imply the current name no longer fits.
