This is a pretty shocking notice at the entrance to the mosque, it indicates that at the time of an earlier restoration a panel was sent to France to be restored. Instead a copy was returned. A nasty abuse of trust. It is - to me - not possible to know what it looked like at the time, but the fake copy now indeed looks atrocious.
