The stage building of the theatre from aside. Panoramic picture, showing some background.
The theatre is dated on stylistic grounds in the 3rd century BC. Seven rows of seats, cut from the bedrock, have been uncovered, later more may be found. The seating capacity was estimated at 2000. Foundations and parts of the stage building may come to light with further excavations.
