Detail of dome in a museum room

The dome of the ‘dershane’ (classroom), which it is 10 x 10 m large (inside dimensions). The dome has a diameter of 9 m and rests on an octagonal drum. The transition from the square room to the drum above is made by means of four triangles that are decorated with muqarnas (stalactites).
