Also in this province, the sarcophagi are showing, beside details of composite bows, the main use of Attic Helmets from the warriors, and the abundance of leather corselet for infantry (Side Museum, Antalya Museum, especially the one from Perge, sarcophagus of Botiane Demetria) and cavalry (Side Museum). Here the cavalryman is represented on his sarcophagus two times: on the left attacking with spear and shield, a rough provincial work of 2nd century that, however, well details the leather corselet fitted with two ranges of short Pteryges. On the right he is holding a staff, symbol of his military rank, probably that of a cavalry Decurio.
