The lower courtyard of the complex, as seen from the northeastern corner of the Ümmühan Hatun Medresesi.
On the left, down: the entrance to the Ayni Ana Türbesi (or: Kadıncık Ana Türbesi), a small grave monument built during the last quarter of the 13th century (late-Seljuk period). It lies next to the mausoleum of Ümmühan Hatun; it is built against the northeastern corner of the monastery/medrese, facing the lower courtyard. The name of ‘Ayni Ana’ (Mother Ayni) is mentioned in the building inscription above the entrance door.
In the background: three (out of four) large domes of the Bektaşi convent, built in Ottoman style (1511).

Correspondent: J.M.Criel, Antwerpen.
