These shots were all taken along the main thoroughfare, the Turgut Özal Bulvar, named after a former prime minister. Along it stand some government buildings, a shopping mall, lots of fine apartment and office blocks, and at some points has tea houses and other places to relax. I think it shows Batman at its best.

Batman boomed due to oil that is found in the region, so here is a pumpjack on a roundabout. I think it is just a "monument", but it may have been functional at some time.
