In talking to some people tonight about an idea I had for a photo, I suggested using Dan for the shot. One of his friends immediately said it wouldn't work. Dan, he said, couldn't do that sort of look... he's never even seen him look angry, let alone look possibly ... darker. I felt challenged. Thank you, Dan. I think it succeeded.

You have to find a model who is more intimidating. He looks too nice :)

We weren't going for angry, but something reflecting "not nice", if that makes any sense; darker than angry, maybe even something slyly hidden behind an expression that is almost friendly. I liked his expression, then tried to enhance it a bit - keeping the focus on the glint in his eyes.

You did accomplish the darker look::smiles::I like that very low key, image. Though he still needs to work on his angry expression::chuckles::nice.
