Ouch my nose. December 11

Okay. Six months ago I had my nose pierced. I really liked it - liked it so much I decided it was time to replace that not expensive initial nose stud with something more festive - like a real diamond. I searched, found what I wanted from an amazing company in England and sent for it. It came this morning. YAY! I popped the old one out and then ... couldn't get the new one in. I tried for half an hour. I yelled at it. Then I called an expert: "Nicole, are you busy?" "No, just doing homework ... why?" I'll just put it this way: for an hour I had a bonding experience with Nicole that was interesting. We finally went to a piercing place and a young girl who, being Captain Obvious, pointed out "Ummm... your nose looks a little ... irritated."
Yes, it's in.
Ouch. My nose! Marsha, Marsha, Marsha. Good thing I'm not going out with the most popular guy in school tonight.

I like the lines you've created, of course bondage, er... I mean bonding experiences like that will really let you know who your friends are.

Hopefully, it will be healed enough to make an appearance for SP friday next week. :) The expression is perfect and the placement of your hands adds definite interest to the portrait. If Rafael painted nose-pierced Seraphims instead of Cherubs, they might have looked like this. ;) Nice lookin' manicure, btw.

Never having anything but my ego pierced, I'm sure I can't fully appreciate your plight. But then again, I've been punched in the nose a few times -- can't be as bad as that. Can't even imagine some of the other things I've seen pierced. Ouch! Fun and funny image. Hope you're feeling better.

I know you worked hard on your finish, but I love best in this picture the placements of your hands, and that glow you created around them. Very artistic. Beautiful eyes and mouth.
