Autumn Color October 15

It was a no-color day, not raining, but threatening with a damp feel to the air. The sky was a pale grey and the leaves still haven't begun to turn. Color was needed. These socks make me smile.

In a way, every photo is a self portrait, no? We take shots of what we like, things that reflect some aspect of our lives or family - where we live and work - things that make us laugh - things that make us who we are. All pieces of the self portrait puzzle.

Well put, donna... very well put. And don't you love that people get a glimpse into .. You? I know I do..

We had a day like that too - except rain so laying on the ground in funky socks would have been a little weird. I love the colors of your socks as well..
