Cadaghi (Blakella [Corymbia] torelliana)

Eucalypts and rainforest are almost a contradiction in terms as eucalypts need light to ground level to regenerate.
However, Cadaghi is something of an exception as it is naturally confined to rainforest margins in north Queensland’s Wet Tropics region.
This medium-sized tree is also quite widely cultivated (and sometimes goes feral); this photo was taken in my garden.
