Gas Stations with full service

USA

They pumped your gas, checked your oil, cleaned your windshield, all with you asking them to, and prices were 25.9 cents a gallon or less. Air for your tires was free. And you got trading stamps at some stations.

other sizes: small medium original auto

I'm sorry but I didn't do a thing to the image, that's the way it was in an e-mail full of photos about vintage cars. Like many of the photos on this site I gladly give credit to whoever took the photo when known but the photos in the e-mail had no credits. If you want credit under the photo I'll gladly add it. If you want it removed I'll do that too. Your call.

We'd ride through a gas station on our bikes, just to run over the hose that rang the bell, the one that alerted the attendant that a car was out front. Then, on our way back from 7-11, with a Slurpee in hand, we'd ride through again to ring the bell! Back in those days that meant you were a troublemaker..!
