My 91yo Dad attended this school in the mid-'30's and this photo is how he remembers it.

HELLO , VERY INTERESTING WEB SITE YOU HAVE HERE . MY NAME IS KEN ERWIN AND I ATTENDED THIS SCHOOL FOR 9 YEARS , 1 - 9 GRADES . AFTER LEAVING HERE I WENT ON TO GRADUATE AT MIAMI JACKSON , SINCE THE NEW SENIOR HIGH IN HIALEAH WAS OPENED ONE YEAR LATE FOR ME .. MUCH TO MY DISAPOINTMENT . THOSE WERE THE YEARS AS THEY SAY .
