Charlotte and her family moved into one of the first new homes in Palm Springs Estates in Hialeah, built by the home developers Lovell Brothers, west of W. 12th Avenue and south of W. 59th Street. I had the my Miami News route in that gold mine area of new customers and I delivered the paper to her home. She was really cute and she hung around with Judy Bush who lived a few homes from her. They, and other girls in the area, were a year behind me at Palm Springs Junior High. Besides other neighborhood chats, I remember taking her on the handlebars of my bike with another guy and girl up W. 12th Avenue to a lake being dug west of where near where Hialeah-Miami Lakes Senior High is now and it was all dirt road north of W. 68th Street. I believe she moved out of the area before she would have entered Hialeah High School because I don't remember her at all at HHS.
