I used to know Reinaldo Ramon "Ray" Areu when he was working for Miami-Dade Police at Miami International Airport in the 1990's but I hadn't seen him since shortly after he retired. I had trouble recognizing him and he wasn't sure about me either until I asked the lady next to him to read me his last name from his reunion name tag.
