Yes he is, Freddy. I haven't seen him since a reunion of old neighborhood buddies that we had at his home back in 2009. A photo of us is on this site, specifically at: http://www.pbase.com/donboyd/image/112665142 andhttp://www.pbase.com/donboyd/image/112677183
We're now 67 going on 68 later this year. Do you remember Mrs. Boyd at Palm Springs? If so, she's my wife and Mr. Zimmerman introduced her to me when he and I were having dinner and beers with another buddy at Friday's down in the Falls shopping center.

Is Mr. Zimmerman still alive? He was my EAP teacher in the mid 80s. One of the few people who believed in me. He was simply, the type of teacher you see in a movie.

Guest, I'm sorry but Mrs. Mingo was the principal at PSE when you were there. Mr. Zimmerman was never a principal and he retired as a teacher after at least 30 years of service with the school system.

I remember "Mr. Zimmerman" as the Principal when I attended PSE from K-6 grades 1975 - 1977.
