My family and I spent many enjoyable visits in this home that Mickey's dad, Herbert S. Jones, had built at the corner of NW 3rd Street and 18th Avenue in Miami. When the Jones family owned it from the 40's through 80's they also owned the lot to the north, where the turquoise home is, where they had a grove of grapefruit trees and they used to park something like 30 cars on the whole property for Orange Bowl games. Their wide driveway was on the other side of the home and there was a nice yard with grass where the carport and driveway is now.
