1976 - Linda Hudish, formerly of Hialeah, playing pool and the photo won AP Photo of the Year as best photo

Ocala, Florida

Linda lived at 115 E. 52nd Place in Hialeah when she went to Palm Springs Junior High in 1961 at the same time as me. She was 27 in the above photo which won best photo in the annual AP Awards for photographs and the photo is from the Ocala Star Banner. She later played in the US Open held August 11-14, 1976 at the Chicago Sheridan Hotel on Michigan Avenue.

Linda Hudish I remember her great Billiard player . Loves all people, she is alive and well . With her husband . She has people still wanting to challenge her to a game of pool.

Linda is married , loved the game of billiards but no longer plays , no family as before . Life sure changes as time marches on .

THIS PICTURE WAS FROM THE 1976 US OPEN IN CHICAGO IL. LINDA WAS IN THE TOP 5 IN THE WORLD WENT ON TO BE A BILLIARD TEACHER NOW 60 IS RETIRED AND STILL IN FLORIDA WITH HER HUSBAND MEL AND DAUGHTER AVA AND 4 GRAND KIDS AND 2 GREAT GRAND KIDS AND 1 ON THE WAY ! I HAVE OVER COME CANCER SO LADIES GET TESTED NO EXCUSES I KNOW I'M LINDA
