Thank you to Larry Martin for contributing this great old image. This gas station was across the street from Eastern Air Lines which was on the southwest corner of this busy intersection. This land is now occupied by the flyover entrance ramp to the Airport Expressway from eastbound NW 36th Street.

I was the outside rep for Firestone wholesale and I called on this station in the late 50's and early 60's. He was a good customer of ours.
