191? Republic Truck

Near La Conner, WA

Probably 1916-1918. Republic was one of the biggest truck manufacturers before and during WWI. After WWI, due to the influx of used trucks coming back from Europe, demand for new ones decreased and the company went into receivership in 1921. They are pretty rare now. I discovered this one hidden behind a building and barely visible from the road while driving around looking for photos in 2007.
