The clearing weather after the snow that started yesterday. Looking at the ALT picture suggests a low cloud must have moved through and covered everything in ice crystals.
Beautiful - if only I had more time, I could have spent most of the day out with the camera - oh well!!

Why create an alternative when you can just use a different picture - breaking my own rules again!!

I love both pics - the snow on the tree looks like blossom and the scene has great depth.
Love the composition of abstract shapes with natural landscape on the "fence" image.Cannot wait to see more "snow scenes" if they are as good as these two !!!

Nice composition. I like the light on the tree compared to the overcast in the valley. Good example of the transition between seasons. vote.
