There's something about a good haircut that makes my day!

Practicing with the 85mm 1.8 at 2.8

I welcome any constructive suggestions and feedback, other than "get another model!" I'm stuck with this guy.

This was taken on a tripod, available light, and the background was my off-white wall. I think I should have shot f/4 or or even f/5.6.

other sizes: small medium large original auto

Definitely hard to get much DOF with f/2.8 - nice haircut, in any event. :-)

looking young gary.
the dof seemed a bit oof. either that or you used too shallow dof. would have like to see a tad more dof for the portrait.

Well, look at you! Your eyes are smiling and your haircut is great. Shall I drive around the block again?

Your smile always brightens my day, Gary! Maybe a tad more DoF but it is a good one. I just wanna rub your head!

Actually, you are a pretty handsome guy! And I agree a bit more DOF would have helped, and that said, this is excellent.
