Reading Glasses

I have pairs of reading glasses all over. In my office,
in my nightstand, in the kitchen, in the car. Supposedly
this is because I was always losing them, but the problem
is these are various different strenghts -- 1.75, 2.0,
2.25, etc. And right now, because my eye is infected and
I'm medicating, I can't wear my usual contact lenses so
all of these glasses are useless to me.

Except perhaps for making a picture! I made an eye chart
and put it under the glasses. It was only after I was finished
that I noticed I had cropped off the usual large "E" on the
top of the chart. Oh well. It was fun to make this picture,
and no reading glasses were hurt in the process.

Wow, this is so clever, Gary. We must be an aging PaD group since it seems everyone knows just what this is about. Reminds me, gotta go find mine, but first put on the bifocals to look for them, lol! Great job!

You need to put them on a string around your neck!

Reading glasses .. yeah .. I started wearing them about 5 years ago. This aging stuff really sucks the big one!
Your photo, however, does not suck at all! LOL .. What a wonderful, creative image, Gary! I like how you've done this. This could be an advert for an optician! very cool!

First of all, I like the way you've done this.. excellent.
Secondly.. I know EXACTLY what you mean. I have horrible sight - actually -10 in both eyes - I've worn glasses since I was 4 (and that was a LONG time ago..). I wear contacts, but now have to have some light OTC glasses in my purse to read labels in the store.. LOL

Love this image -- strange thing to say about reading glasses, but it sums up my life. (You mean that's not an 'E' up at the top? Huh.) I like how you made the image a circle, sort of making it an eyeball's view of the picture. LOL at the 'longer arms' bit, Russ. Oh, to be an ape...

Very creative

This gets a vote. It is funny. Sorry 'bout your infected optical scanner. I have lost both pair of my prescription glasses and can't see worth a dang. Hope one of them turns up soon.
Cheers

Hi Gary, cool shot. (BTW, I recommend that you use acupuncture for your eye infection. It works very fast and effectively for such problems).
