Light Setup

Just set up my PHotoflex 16 x 22 Litedome Kit. The directions were a bit iffy, but by turning connections around and fiddling with them I got it put together. My Sunpak 383, which I had intended using in it would not fire reliably with the optical slave on it up there, so I put the Canon 430EX which I was using for the background light (on the floor) in there instead. Thankfully, the Sunpak worked on the floor behind the stand. (Go figure). Warning: You may find yourself uttering expletives as you try to figure this out, so put the kids in a safe place. The stand is a bit lightweight, so I hung a couple of handweights from one of the legs to keep it from tipping over. The kit is made from separate elements that you can buy separately, so if you have a sturdy lightstand you really don't need to buy the kit.
