The best laid plans
(Day 300)

Well the plan was to take my
crutch swinging butt out today.
A trip to the store,
or maybe even a movie?
Just something to get out of
the house for a few hours.
Unfortunately crutches and snow go
together like drinking and driving.
Just bad ideas all around.
If I HAD to go out?
Well obviously I could.
But to risk a fall just to get out?
Nah, stupid once, but not twice.

Oh, and on the "second date" front,
well this little boo boo put a
little hitch in that right now.
Will she mind waiting a couple weeks?
Well I will know that in a couple weeks.
For right now she seems fine with it.
Although I bet she is wondering
if I found her response to it all funny.
(I did)

And finally, welcome to day 300 of the "Anguish Project"
To me it is very funny to call it that now.
I have not been in "anguish" since October.
Sure, I have been mad, and all kinds of stuff happened.
Heck, I have gottten the divorce since then, and life is good.
That is why I renamed this the life project.
I would not trade these 300 days for anything.
Not the ones that were fun, and not the bad ones.
It is not the journey I expected,
but it is the journey I am on.
Get out there and live life.
