As is their usual mid-summer signing,
Troy Brown has signed a one year
contract with the Patriots.
For those that don't know, Troy has
done this for years. Nobody knows
what will happen, is this the year
we might lose him, or will he retire.
Then all of a sudden, he signs a one
year deal, and things are normal.
Dear Troy,
As a fan, I would like to thank you
for all you have done over the years.
Sure, there are flashier players, but
you come in every year and do everything
you can to just win. I have watched you
make FANTASTIC catches over the years that
went for exactly one more yard than needed
on third down. You always seemed to be
there and open at just the right moment.
You are an exceptional player. Oh, and
that strip in the chargers game last year,
who else could have done that but you.
Your dedication and skill have been
amazing to watch over the years. When you
do decide to retire, I am glad it will be
as a Patriot. Actually, I REALLY hope that
when you do that, you become a receivers
coach. You play the game the right way
and passing on that skill after would
be great. However, that will not be this
year, because this year, I will be cheering
you on the feild. Go get em.
Dave
PS: Sorry, 2 year old photo.
It was the only one I had
and when I heard he signed,
well, you know. Had to.
