Rick and Dick Hoyt - 2009

If you have ever seen the Boston Marathon
you have seen Dick pushing his son Rick.
This is their attempt to complete their 1000th race.
Their first race was in 1977 (5 miles).
Most people on the route know of them.
It is just one of those stories that sticks with you.

Thank you for this, I have googled and knew more about Team Hoyt. When asked what one thing Rick wished he could give his father: "The thing I'd most like," Rick types, "is that my dad sit in the chair and I push him once."
