I posted my first PAD on June 20 last year (Fathers Day), so I guess this would be the first PAD of my second year. It seems that I cheated a lot last year -- lots of post-dated postings, shots from already-posted sets, entirely missed days, and general slothful behavior. SO, I guess I should A)find another avocation, B)take a sabatical (and learn something about photography), or C)commit to another year and try to get it right this time. However, any answer other than C would remove my rationale for buying photo equipment, books, etc. Moreover, I'd have to turn in my PAD card and lose my daily dose of PAD People Patter. Couldn't do that -- so I guess it's another year. This is my first entry for Year 2.

Post Processing: Tweak Levels; Increase overall saturation a little (makes yellows stronger); Extract blossom from background; Make Border selection (4px) and delete to ensure no bleed from flower. Add underlying layer; Use Paintbucket in conjunction with eyedropper (Alt while in Paintbucket mode) to sample different colors for the background fill until finding desired color. (Decided to use white after all, but check the alternative versions.); Sign, frame, and downrez.
