This merle border collie was, like all the rest of us, watching the prior runs at a herding dog trial. The sheep were just nuts, and we were all rank novices, so you can imagine the scene -- sheep scattered to the four winds, dogs going crazy, and handlers pulling their hair out. I don't think this guy was looking forward to tangling with the woolies any more than the rest of us. I really do hate sheep.
