My concerns about footpaths are eased somewhat when I come to Tollgate Road, which is a side street
branching to the left from the main road, crossing the railway line and overpassing everything
just up ahead. Part the way along I catch this quite attractive view. The sun is now emerging from
behind the trees and we can see that both the road and its ever accompanying rail line are meandering
northish at this point. You can see that if I'd continued to follow the highway, there still would
not have been a proper footpath. Grrr!
