I am fully determined to demonstrate just how good cameras like the G12 CAN ACTUALLY BE. 100%
inspections of the full sized image show quite extraordinary detail in the grain of the paper used for this wine
label. Thing is that small sensors provide the deep DOF which proves so useful for really close focus images.
There is also no mirror crashing about, destroying effective acuity. Combined with its corded remote
control, the G12 becomes a totally vibration-free instant macro machine. Sometimes I think the
usefulness of DSLRs is overrated.
