The Duirinish Stone was erected by the community of Dunvegan to mark the 21st century.
Standing 5 meters tall and weighing 5-tons, the stone came from a beach on the southern end of Skye.
It overlooks the ruins of St. Mary's Church, the parish church of the Clan MacLeod.
