I remember arriving at this station by train on our way from Bournemouth, via Winchester, to Ecchinswell whenever we visited Mum's family there.
We'd arrive with various trunks, cases etc which were left at the station for the carrier to pick up and deliver. We (my mother, me and my younger sister) then walked the several miles to Mill Lane, Ecchinswell and of course did this in reverse when we returned home.
