Mounting

I bent the mounting bracket slightly and mounted it to the Dog house cover to reduce the effects of engine vibration. (In this picture it was mounted to unused bolt hole on the AC compressor. I was afraid that the excessive vibration at engine RPMs where it seemed to go into resonance would damage the cruise control, so I moved the mounting.) The actuator cable was routed around and anchored next to the throttle cable. I used the original ball and chain connection from the Dana unit to connect the cable to the injector pump. Make sure that you adjust the slack so the control servo can make its full stroke, otherwise the unit will disengage when it tries to hold full throttle.
