It's a metal vase, Claire. I like it, too. I had to talk my darling daughter into it... She wanted wine like the original shot, but I think it's great that she has her heart there... waiting to give it to Mr. Right. Thanks, Claire. ~Lydia

is the heart a handbag? Whatever it is the shot wouldnt be the same without it - it backs up the sentiments perfecty. Inspired!..claire

I wish it were so, Lee, but the rules say,
" -For ELIGIBLE entries: Use previous CTF submissions (from any gallery, but preferably winners) as your "starter" image.

-For EXHIBITION entries: You may use any photo as your "starter" image."

It was taken for this challenge, during the eligible time period, but isn't from a CTF gallery. *sigh* I didn't realize it at the time, but it's true, so I moved it to Exhibition. Thanks for your interest. I do appreciate it, Lee. ~Lydia

If it was taken during the challenge period it is eligible.

Lee, it's from a CSLR entry... not a CTF Challenge. *sigh* ~Lydia

Fab! Love how she's barefooted. Looks like a painting.

Thanks, folks. You're making me blush... My daughter gets the acting credit. She and I had such fun doing this! The boys just wondered why we were moving the furniture all around. *grin* ~Lydia

one of my favourites from both galleries. absolutely stunning gray tones. wooden floor, wallpaper, chairs, and her dress, all are perfect candidates for the bw conversion. i am glad there is no eye contact with the camera...her gaze into nothingness sets up the perfect mood. -Abstract

You are like a train that lost its brakes in this challenge. All your entries are super.

Excellent looking picy, well done but it's a shame about the wedding mount wiv the title spoiling it.

A beauty! :) I prefer this one to the original.

LYDIA!!! This is utterly fantastic! The conversion is perfection, everything is stunning! Did you use a little Lucis on this? it's so incredibly dimensional and flawlessly processed. Complete professionalism here! KUDOS! Consider yourself standingly ovated!!! ~ Lonnit
