Very pleasing and fun to look at! Just don't take off into that blur, okay?

Thanks again for the comments. I don't do as much recording as I would like. It is very time consuming and makes a mess around my PC with all of the equipment. I didn't notice the salt and pepper shaker thing so I can;t take credit for that. -COAmature

Since we still have salt and pepper shakers at work with these same colors, I thought from the thumbnail that these too were S & P shakers. Very imaginative shot and nice use of DOF. John

Salt and pepper shaker, Lol very appropriate! I like the colors too. The blue reflection is very nice touch. I like the fact that you have include one one in focus!

Salt & Pepper shakers! Right on; hands up anyone who flew in the seventies. :-) mcbit

Interesting how looking at them from this perspective these look like a bunch of salt and peper shakers instead of little knobs- cool image Doug.

The blue light works really well Doug. Do you do much recording?

Thanks Sueanne. I took this with the kit 18-55mm lens. I actually had options with DOF that I could control by manual focusing even at this short distance which kind of surprised me. The blue I added with lighting on purpose to give it a "studio" mood. -Doug

Nice DOF at 1 sec. - steady does it. I like the yellows and browns and the blue lighting. What lens is this?
