Neat!. The colors are pretty natural here, Rod. The photo also looks sharp and crisp!

Thanks Carole:-) Yes the Iso 400 seems very clean so it didn't really matter. I'm on a 19" monitor & still have to scroll a bit, I normally post at 700 long side. Just so you know Carole the composition is perfect.............cough cough:-)

Nice side lighting Rod and I like the color contrasts too. I DON'T like having to scroll around to see these taller images though as it's hard to tell about the comp. Oh well - next challenge we can size these at 600mp. Yeah, I knew you forgot to change your settings but I don't think it would really make much difference in this shot if you had a lower ISO. CJ

Thanks all:-) The main reason I shot this on Iso 1600 is...........I er........I sort of forgot to reset it from yesterday:-) I first took a picy in AV mode on evaluative metering & that was 1/500sec at 5.6 so I set the camera in manual mode & took a shot at say 1/800 then 1/1000 & finally 1/1600 when the Buddha looked right in the LCD screen. The red thingys are dropped flowers from our tree John.
I had a look in pending Kiki & me faith in you as a Nordic Goddess is restored a small amount by seeing a glimpse of your blond heritage:-)

The Buddha almost looks like he is winking. I'm afraid I don't know what the red things are. Nice job capturing the black ... it looks like fresh tar. John

When you've explained your shaking hands, there's a lock of my hair in pending. I'm trying to be scientific about this, plucking your vision of me as a blond northern goddess apart one step at the time. We don't want any crash landings.

A misjudgement; a chink in the armour? What do you think Debi? ;) -mcbit

Oh Great Buddha explanation needed - 5.6 for DOF but why 1/1600? Why high ISO when speed could have been lower? - Debi

wow. I really got that all botched up. I was thinking you were some kind of spiritualist or something.....

:-)hehe Thanks Kiki:-) Don't worry Kiki I get badly exposed picys but I don't show them to anyone:-)

The word "diet" springs to mind - I don't know why. (Do you ever NOT deliver a perfect exposure?)

Very appealing sharp image Rod! I like the dark shadow detail and the little bit of nice color thrown it. Great work mate, but what the heck is SP?
