"Oddly" appealing. That's my vote. (and I'm glad to have finally made a decision)

John, it wasn't intended to be a self-portrait, in either image. I was really only shooting the scene and didn't see the camera in the reflection, like the "no PP" posting. Looking carefully at the curves in the reflective surface, led me to the conclusion that the "eye" must be reflected there, and it is. The "self portrait" part was tongue-in-cheek "P^). Cheers, -mikey

OK Mikey, if you say so. The self portrait is a little out there since it that was the only thing I saw I still wouldn't recognize it as so. I do like the concept. If your face was more recognizable then I think this would be a beauty. As it is, I still put it in my very imaginative bucket. John

For those of you who think you need new monitors; the SP is pretty subtle, so maybe you should wait on that. Then again, any excuse to get a new piece of hardware is a good excuse, right? Here's a little help from PS:

Thanks Doug, I thought it was just me. However, could be just reason enough to get a new monitor.

I see the bottles now Mikey, but I'm not getting the self portrait reflection. -COAmature

Very nice and creating abstract and a SP at the same time. I would have been clue less for a long time had you not explained it so nicely. Works great!

I like the explanation. Thanks. But that's definitely not what I expected. Wow.

Thanks for the coments, folks; they are always appreciated. Actually, this is a self-portrait. See my face in the darkness on the lower right. The cam is on a tripod and you can see it to my right. Penny, this is two water bottles, one purple and one green. Both are seen in a mirror-polished stainless steel coffee pot; its on the right of the image. The green bottle is visible, tho blurry, in the foreground left. The purple one is only seen in the reflection, but for the ribbed slice at the top left of the image. CJ, yes, I wanted the reflection more in focus than the actual bottle to add to the effect. Cheers, -mikey

Mikey, is this passive solar heat of some kind? I wish there was a greater DOF so I could see it better, but maybe that was the idea! ;-D CJ

Would you mind telling us what this is?
I love the colors but I am admittedly partial to purple and green.
