The reflections of color make this really pretty and I love the blue bokeh in the upper right.

It's our secret Shu:-)

Thank you Rod! I really struggled with this, since I have paid absolutley no attention to DOF in front of an object in the past. In fact, and this is between you and me, I have not up until this time, understood it and how it is achieved! (Don't tell anybody) Thanks to your insistance, I believe I have been enlightened! LOL shu

Good onya sweet one I'm really happy:-) I don't often like blur in front of a subject either but it can really make a shot sometimes. Lensbaby is yuck:-)
This shot works well for the topic Shu, good onya for giving it a try:-)

My sole purpose of joining CTF challenge is to keep Rod happy! LOL! Altho, I must admit , I've learned something about DOF that I wasn't aware of before. Basically, I don't care for DOF in front of the subject (blurry to me), but I guess it's good for this lesson. BTW, I don't care for Lensbaby either. Too much blur! Thanks, Sharon for your comment! shu

Hooray, you did it, shu! DOF galore, Rod will be so happy! I like the echoing purple color in the background. Good work! Sharon
