Rose Cottage *

Rose Cottage, Lovers Lane, Newark, England

That's the name, just in view on the side of the front door, and I like to think there is a beautiful rose garden behind the high walls of this cottage - but until I go back wiv me ladder...

Ahh - I was being a bit dim - I missed the allusion... don't they keep it there anymore Rod? I guess they had to find a safer place after Goldfinger got in and nicked it! :o)

Who knows what lurks behind that wall of brick, but it is ugly that you can't see for yourself Pete. I was in Edinburgh recently, and there was this beatutiful park behind a locked wrought iron fence. People had to pay a huge sum per year to get a key to the place. I thought that was a pretty ugly circumstance- all this beauty in the middle of town and the commoners couldn't enjoy it.
