Great job with this shot! I really like it. Yvonne

Thanks for leaving your kind comments folks :)

Jim, the magneta ridge is the seam and just about where the fabric ends. Shows the button has it's place and not just on an endless piece of fabric. Though I appreciate you pointing it out, I will think about this further.

Superb image, love the simplicity of it. /airwhale

Excellent, Techo! Nice composition, nice color on color and an interesting subject.

Very interesting DOF, I suppose because of the button placement. I see the normal DOF in the foreground-background direction on the cloth, but the button DOF seems to run left-right. I like the sharp needle. What causes the blue-magenta-blue shadow along the ridge in the fabric? Maybe clone the magenta (purple?) out? Jim

This is a nice artistic take on an everyday object, and it looks so natural--not like some planned studio shot. Why can't I ever think of something like this?

Love it! I'm a sucker for good DOF and this shot nails it imho. Nice work!

Great shot Techo! I like the way you picked up the sharp texture in the fabric and still have a great DOF for this photo. Pretty shades of blue as well! Well done. jano

Great to see a different interpretation of the needle and thread theme, both yours and Janos work very well and are quite different

I have a weak spot for blue, you got me there Techo :)
