Thanks for comments, I used a canon digital rebel for the past year and a half. It is D.O.A. at about 45,000 shots. I purchased the 20D just this week, what a difference. Also got 4 year warranty on the new one. I didn't ever think I would have taken so many pictures in one year. Going to see where this hobby will take me. Todd
