very dramatic
looks like she is astonished when opening up the box, only to see aliens glowing up at her

thanks for the nice comments everybody.

alexeig, this is what I shot: JPEG, 1/4 sec., F5/6, 28mm, ISO-400. Picture was tweaked in photoshop, contrast & USM; but mostly as is. I had a lamp underneath, that was covered up to give a glowing effect for the room. A fluorescent light in the box. I also had two box fans that should make her hair flow, but I couldn't get it right at all.

You are certainly enjoying your new cam!!! I love the expression, the lighting, and the general essence of mystery the photo captures!

Wow, look at the love on your face:-) That's a great shot that tells us your missus knows the feeling of being a photographers partner:-) I haven't seen that shot before, I just saw the camera type under the picy. Looking forward to seeing your shots now you have more creative control with the DOF, iso etc. Good onya Blade.

Beautiful and cooperating lady. Dramatic light too. I wonder what your EXIF is

Blade, I never saw the other one before, but the expresssion on your wife's face is priceless. I'm glad to see from this submission that she's still cooperating with you. It's a nice capture, with perfect lighting and expression.
